Karwa Chauth is a beautiful festival of love and devotion. 💞
However, pregnant women need to be extra cautious while observing this fast. Your health and your baby’s well-being come first.

✅ Do’s:

• Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water, milk, or coconut water during Sargi and after breaking the fast.
• Eat a Nutritious Sargi:
Include fruits, dry fruits, milk, and protein-rich foods early morning.
• Take Small Sips (If Allowed):
If you must stay without food, sip a little water throughout the day after consulting your doctor.
• Listen to Your Body:
If you feel dizzy, weak, or nauseous, break the fast immediately.
• Consult Your Doctor First:
Get personalized advice depending on your pregnancy stage and health condition.

❌ Don’ts:

• ❌ Avoid Complete Dry Fast:

Going without water for long hours may cause dehydration, risking both mother and baby.
• ❌ Don’t Skip Meals Entirely:
Skipping food can lead to low blood sugar, weakness, and dizziness.
• ❌ Avoid Heavy Work:
Rest well; do not engage in excessive housework or stress.
• ❌ No Overeating While Breaking Fast:
Eat light and balanced food to avoid indigestion.

🌼 Dr. Abha’s Note:

“Your baby’s health is your top priority.
If you wish to celebrate Karwa Chauth, do it mindfully and safely under medical guidance.”
